FERGUSON HANDS SOUTHWEST ITS FIRST LOSS, 9-5

Host Southwest lost for the first time in nine games, falling to Fergsuon, 9-5, Tuesday afternoon at Tropical Park. The Lady Eagles (8-1) handed the game to the Falcons on a silver platter, walking 13 Ferguson batters, hitting one, and committing three errors. Ferguson managed only four hits, as did Southwest. Mia Acosta, who had a busy day behind the plate due to the wildness of the Southwest pitchers, had two of the four hits. Twin sisters Kaylie and Kianny Gil had the others. The Falcons are now 4-8-1.
