LADY EAGLES REMAIN UNDEFEATED
Visiting Southwest scored all the runs it needed in the top of the first inning and went on to beat Ferguson, 11-5, Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Eagles (5-0) scored six runs in the first inning with the benefit of only one hit, a 2-run single by Ericka Noboa. The Falcons (2-8-1) chipped away to cut the deficit to 7-5 after four innings. Southwest put the game away with four more runs in the seventh. The big hit again came off the bat of Noboa, a two-run double. Shantell Valle also drove in two runs. Tatiana Perez threw a complete game two-hitter for the Lady Eagles. |
