SOUTHWEST ELIMINATED FROM GMAC TOURNAMENT, 7-1 Visiting Palmetto advanced to the semifinals of the Greater Miami Athletic Conference softball tournament with a 7-1 victory over Southwest Monday afternoon at Tropical Park. The Panthers (8-6) scored one run in the second, two in the fourth, one in the sixth and three in the seventh. The Lady Eagles (8-2) scored their only run in the third inning when Ami Casteleiro singled to left and scored on an error by the Palmetto first baseman. Kaylie Gil and Sandra Mangano each had two hits for Southwest.
