Nick Ronda, a 2000 graduate of Southwest, is the former head coach at Killian where his team advanced to the regional finals (the Elite Eight of the state playoffs). Prior to taking over at Killian, Ronda had been the assistant coach to former Eagle Chris Brown at both Ferguson and Palmetto. He attended the University of Miami where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration; Management & Organization degree. Later, he got his MBA from Nova-Southeastern University.
