EAGLES SILENCE THUNDER, 65-38

Behind the hot shooting hands of Thiago Bourroul and Jeancarlos Arteaga, Southwest trounced visiting J.C. Bermudez High, 65-38, Thursday night. Bourroul, who was scoreless in the first half, poured in ten points in the first three-and-a-half minutes of the third quarter to help the Eagles extend an eight-point halftime lead to 16 points entering the final period. Southwest (4-5) topped 50 points for the first time this season and the margin of victory was the largest since the Eagles beat Edison by 36 points last season. The Eagles are now 3-0 at home since coach Roberto Fatjo replaced his player's pre-game musical playlist with his own choice of music. Bermudez fell to 1-6.
