EAGLES BLOW 12-POINT LEAD Southwest's offense went ice cold in the second half as the Eagles fell to host Terra, 51-44, Thursday night. Southwest (2-5) played, by far, its best half of the season in the first half and jumped out to a 28-16 lead
2:10 into the second quarter. That was due, in large part, to five 3-pointers from Jeancarlos Arteaga. The Wolves (2-2) trailed 36-25 at the half but stepped up the defensive pressure in the third period and held the Eagles to just four points. Things didn't get any better in the fourth quarter as Southwest didn't score until 3:05 remained in the game when Isaac Navarro hit two free throws. The only field goal for the Eagles in the final period didn't come until 1:17 was left when Juan Castell made a basket. Castell returned to the lineup after missing a game with an injury, but fellow starter Tristan Castillo is still sidelined with an injury to his right arm.
