Southwest jumped out to an 8-0 lead but visiting Westwood Christian responded with a 19-3 run on its way to a 57-45 victory Tuesday night. The Eagles (9-13) trailed by 12 at halftime and by 12 entering the final quarter but could get no closer than eight points the rest of the way. The Warriors (13-7) have a 6'10" ninth-grader from Africa.

JV BEATS WESTWOOD
Giancarlo Tarrau had ten of his game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter to lead the junior varsity to a 58-50 victory over visiting Westwood Christian. Aiden Kicker added 15 for the Baby Eagles, who have gone 2-2 after an 0-12 start.
