TERRA SNAPS EAGLES 5-GAME WINNING STREAK

Terra jumped out to a 14-0 lead and coasted to a 58-41 victory over visiting Southwest Tuesday night. The Eagles (7-6) did not score until 1:20 remained in the first quarter when Jeancarlos Arteaga hit the first of his four 3-pointers. The closest Southwest got the rest of the way when Isaac Navarro's 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter cut the deficit to 11. The Wolves (wouldn't a better nickname for Terra be the Dactyls or the Bulls?) snapped the Eagles five-game winning streak while raising their record to 6-4. Southwest did get some good news when Tristan Castillo, who was injured in the Coral Park game, was cleared to play.
The scoring:
Jeancarlos Arteaga 12
Pedro Cabrera 7
Ivan Fonseca 6
Isaac Navarro 6
Thiago Bourroul 5
Tristan Castillo 4
Luis Live 1

Jeancarlos Arteaga was the only Eagle in double figures
