ROYALS RUIN EAGLES Immaculata-La Salle, a small Catholic school
with only 886 students in grades 9-12, dominated host Southwest Monday night in a season-opening 57-39 victory. The Eagles scored only two field goals in each of the first two quarters while falling behind, 12-5, after one period and 24-11 at the half. To make matters worse, Southwest missed 12 of its 15 free throws on the night. The only bright spot of the evening was a standing room only crowd. |
