The Eagles, who conclude their season with a record of 5-18, didn't score until Tristan Castillo hit a basket wth 2:43 left in the first quarter. An Ivan Fonseca three-pointer with 1:26 left in the third period cut the deficit to six, but Southwest didn't get that close again until consecutive threes by Giancarlo Tarrau and Thiago Bourroul again cut the lead to six, but with only 6.9 seconds remaining in the game. The Bucs (17-7) advance to the semifinals. |
