SECOND HALF COLLAPSE DOOMS EAGLESSouthwest drove four hours round trip to Port St. Lucie only to blow a 13-point first half lead and lose to host Treasure Coast, 62-48, Monday night. The Eagles (5-16) came out on fire, hitting seven 3-pointers (four by Thiago Bourroul and three by Ivan Fonseca) in the first quarter for a 23-13 lead. The Titans (12-9) outscored Southwest in the second period, 16-9, with all 9 points by Bourroul. Treasure Coast pressed full court after halftime and put up 21 third quarter points to just five for Bourroul. When Tristan Castillo scored on a goaltending call with 4:05 left in the game, it was the first Eagles points in the contest not scored by Bourroul or Fonseca, but that cut the Titans lead to a still-too-large 13 points.
