SLOW START DOOMS EAGLES Visiting Goleman jumped out to a 16-7 first quarter lead and held on for a 67-59 victory over Southwest Thursday night. The game started one hour early to allow fans to see most of the University of Miami's victory over Ole Miss in the College Football Playoffs. The Eagles (3-11) wasted a 29-point performance by senior Thiago Bourroul.
