EAGLES ROUTED, 36-0

Host Somerset Silver Palms jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead and coasted to a 36-0 victory over Southwest (1-2). The Stallions (1-3) scored off both special teams and on defense as one touchdown came on a blocked punt and another on a fumble return. For the second week in a row, Danny McCray had an electrifying kickoff return to start the second half, this one for 56 yards. Unfortunately, the Eagles drive stalled on the Somerset 12-yard line and Southwest turned the ball over on downs. The Stallions closed the scoring on a long touchdown pass and followed it with a 2-point conversion. The remainder of the game was played with a running clock.
