SOUTHWEST MIAMI HIGH SCHOOL EAGLES TRACK & FIELD

LADY EAGLES TAKE SECOND AT KROP The Southwest girls team finished second overall in the meet at Krop High School Tuesday. The Lady Eagles won both the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays. Individually, Izabella Lara won the 200 meter and 400 meter races, while teammate Aryana Flores captured first place in the 400 meter hurdles. On the boy's side, the 4x100 meter relay team finished third and junior Jorge Fernandez took fourth place in the 100 meter dash.

Izabella Lara added two more first place finishes in the 200 and 400 meter dashes.
