3 EAGLES QUALIFY FOR REGIONALS

Savion Collins, Kameron Bullard-Terry and Christopher Brice all qualified for the Regional 4-4A meet thanks to their performances at the District 16-4A meet at Southridge Stadium. Collins is the District champion in the Shot Put with a throw of 13.68 meters and he placed third overall in the Discus with a toss of 36.76 meters, qualifying for the Regionals in both events. Bullard-Terry placed third in the 100 meters (11.22 in the prelims and 11.33 in the finals) and fourth overall in 400 meters (51.45 in the prelims and 52.14 in the finals) locking up his spots in the Regionals as well. Christopher Brice placed third in the long jump (6.22 meters), soaring into the Regionals. They will be competing in the Region meet April 27th at Traz Powell Stadium trying to earn a spot in the state championships. The Eagles boys team finished fifth overall with 46 points.
