Adolfo Perez was named head coach prior to the 2020 season after serving as an assistant coach in 2019. The Lady Eagles were winless in 2019. By 2021, Southwest was the district champion. When not coaching softball, Perez serves as a supervisor with the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department.
