DADE CHRISTIAN WINS BY 5

Visiting Dade Christian went to the line 14 times in the fourth quarter, and made eight of the shots, to defeat Southwest, 46-41, Tuesday night. The Crusaders (5-2) led the entire first half until the Eagles (3-4) took a 32-31 lead on a free throw by Alejandro Diaz with 1:55 left in the third quarter. The Southwest comeback was made possible by a defense that held Dade Christian to four points in the quarter. Each team made three baskets in the final period; the difference was on the line. Southwest shot just 8-for-15 from the charity stripe in the game.

Ethan St. Prix led the Eagles with 16 points
