Southwest held visiting Coral Park to just six first half points on its way to an easy 56-24 victory Monday night. Head coach Rick Landera, who came to Southwest this year from Coral Park, emptied his bench early. In fact, all 14 Eagles players who dressed for the game scored at least two points. Jaycee Ruiz scored seven of his game-high ten points in the first quarter, including two 3-pointers. Southwest (5-1) has now won five in a row after an opening loss. The Rams fall to 1-6

Roberth Hernandez scored 15 points, including six in the final quarter, to lead the junior varsity to a 41-34 victory over visiting Coral Park. Jose Orama added 11 for the Baby Eagles (4-2).
