EAGLES OFFENSE MIA IN LOSS TO SOUTH MIAMI, 51-47

How do Eagles reproduce? By laying eggs, of course. And that's what the Southwest offense did Tuesday night at South Miami. The Eagles went the first ten minutes of the game without a basket in a 51-47 loss to the Cobras. Southwest (2-3) trailed 13-1 after one quarter, the only point coming on an Ethan St. Prix free throw with 2:07 on the clock. The score was 15-1 when Alejandro Diaz hit the first field goal two minutes into the second quarter. South Miami (2-3) also went cold in the second quarter, scoring only four points to lead, 17-8, at the half. Going into the final period, the score was 30-22 and the Eagles cut the deficit to four points with 35.8 seconds left, but it was too little, too late.
The scoring:
Alejandro Diaz 11
David Fanning 11
Dylan Jaxon 7
Ethan St. Prix 5
Jaydrian Paz 4
Josue De-La-Torre 3
Ivan Fonseca 2
Juan Castell 2
Tristan Castillo 2
