CINDARELLA PLAYOFF
RUN COMES TO AN END

Top-seeded Southridge used its height and athleticism to its advantage in a 93-59 win over visiting Southwest Saturday afternoon. The Eagles, seeded last, had made the championship game after upset wins over #2 seed Miami Beach and #3 Krop. Southwest, which finishes its season with a record of 9-15, used three Ethan St. Prix baskets to take a 6-2 lead after three minutes. The Spartans (15-11) then went on a 9-0 run and never trailed again. Southridge led 20-15 after one quarter, 53-27 at the half, and 71-47 entering the final period. The final 3:51 of the game was played with a running clock. The much-improved Eagles, who won only two games last year, had won four of their last five going into Saturday's contest.
