PRESEASON OPENER, 45-39

Marathon outscorred Southwest, 7-0, over the last two minutes to defeat the Eagles, 45-39, in a preseasn game at South Dade High Wednesday afternoon. The Dolphins led, 34-26, a minute into the fourth quarter before Aiden Kicker hit a 3-pointer and a 2-pointer to cut the lead to one. Later in the final period, Thiago Bourroul hit two treys to give the Eagles a 39-38 lead, but Southwest could nor score anymore.
