VIPERS DEFEAT EAGLES, 66-54

Host Varela pulled away in the final minutes to defeat Southwest, 66-54, Friday night. Three Viper players scored 60 of the team's 66 points. The Eagles (1-7) had only 10 players dressed for the game and three of them fouled out, while a fourth ended the game with four fouls. The Vipers are now 5-1.
