REEF BEATS SOUTHWEST

Host Coral Reef led from start to finish in a 55-49 victory over Southwest Thursday night. The Barracudas (14-4) jumped out to an 18-6 first quarter lead and took a 29-22 lead into the locker room at the half. The Eagles (3-15) cut the deficit to 37-32 after three periods and cut the margin to three with 1:17 left when Thiago Bourroul stole the ball and layed it in to make it 52-49. Southwest could not score again.
