Paco Rojas was a linebacker and defensive back who was honorable mention All-Dade his senior year after leading Southwest in both tackles and pass deflections. He went on to play collegiately at Valley City State University in North Dakota, but it is his coaching career for which he is best known. Paco started coaching at newly-opened Braddock High in 1990 and became the school's second head coach in 1995. He served as head coach through 2015, winning three district championships. Paco moved to Reagan Doral High, where he won the school's first independent league title in 2024, a win that was the 100th of his head coaching career. Twelve of his former assistant coaches and players have become head coaches. In 2004, his college's 1998 championship team was inducted into the VCSU Hall of Fame. A 2010 Louie Bing Award honoree, Paco has served as National Combine Director at the Navy All American Bowl since 2013. Paco is also Director of Operations for Football University, which puts on over 50 showcases and camps each year.
