TERRA TOPS SOUTHWEST

Visiting Terra jumped out to an 11-2 first quarter lead and coasted to a 41-19 victory over Southwest Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Eagles (3-8), already shorthanded with only seven players, suffered a big loss in the fourth quarter went leading scorer Sophia Piñeiro left the game with a leg injury. She was seen on crutches after the game and her status for the final week of the season is unknown. On the bright side, Dahively Ortiz, who had been out with an injury, was on the court for the first time since December 1. The Lady Wolves raised their record to 8-10.
