SOUTHWEST SWEEPS SOUTHRIDGE

Host Southwest's offense exploded for 22 points in the second quarter on its way to a 54-38 victory over Southridge on Tuesday. Tied 8-8 after one quarter, Elisabel DiConzo came off the bench to score ten of her game-high 18 points in that period. Amelia Page and Summer Garcia also recorded career highs for the Eagles (2-5). The Spartans fell to 2-6 with two of those losses coming at the hands (talons?) of Southwest.
