HEAD COACH
DONNIE
MARCH

Alumnus Donnie March took over as the new head football coach at Southwest in 2017, replacing Tim Neal. March, class of 1996, was a lineman for the Eagles and won the team's ironman award his senior year for playing both offensive tackle and defensive end. That team is famous among alumni for being the squad that finally beat rival Coral Gables for the first time. March went on to play college football at the University of Evansville. Most recently he has been the head football coach and Athletic Director at Palm Glades Academy in Goulds. The March family has a long tradition at Southwest. His uncle Bill quarterbacked the Eagles, his dad Don Jr. was the president of the class of '63 and both of his sisters, Melissa and Darla, are Eagles.
