Jordan is perhaps the most decorated athlete at Southwest. The Most Valuable Player on the football team as a junior after playing almost every down of every game, he added baseball MVP honors as a senior and was also honored as the school's top male athlete. The top returning hitter for the Eagles after batting .304 as a junior and being named Honorable Mention All-Dade by the Miami Herald, he led the team in batting as a senior with a .400 average and was named First Team All-Dade by the Herald. He was also named All-District and second team All-American by MiamiDadeHighSchoolBaseball.com. Jordan was called up to the varsity in early April of his sophomore season after starring on the JV team. His older brother Justin played baseball and football for Southwest and is currently on the baseball team at Davis & Elkins college, his mom Ana is a Southwest alumna and his dad J.R. played ball for Miami-Dade College.
