Jordan was called up to the varsity in early April of his sophomore season after starring on the JV team. His best games were a 4-inning, 2-hit shutout against Reagan Doral, eight strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings against Southridge and a complete game with nine strikeouts versus Killian. He also played centerfield when he wasn't pitching. A two-sport athlete, Jordan was named Most Valuable Player for Southwest football team after playing almost every down this season. He played quarterback, defensive back and punted. His older brother Justin is played baseball and football for Southwest and is currently on the baseball team at ASA college, his mom Ana is a Southwest alumna and his dad J.R. played ball for Miami-Dade College.
